Continuing from last chapter, resuming the fight between the two Uchiha brothers, Sasuke and Itachi.

Like we all have guessed it, the outcome of the fight has become much clearer now. Of course Sasuke will not die. So Itachi had to die, right? Right about now, in this chapter 390, they have both run out of chakra.

Itachi fell into Sasuke’s trap like a rat which had no brain. Instead of the name he carries, and an apprentice to the strongest Uchiha, Uchiha Madara, he was beaten like a rat just by Sasuke, how ridiculous.

And towards the end of this chapter 390, when they both had been exhausted and ran out of chakra, Sasuke drew that “victory smile”. And you know exactly what is going to happen when a character in Naruto has that smile. Victory. End of a story.

We’ll see what that “final jutsu” is gonna be on next chapter anyway.

I don’t think I am quite in a very good mood right now.

I, and I believe most of Naruto fans, have been waiting for so long, with passion , for Sasuke/Itachi fight all this while, and "this" is what we got.

It is so disappointing. This is "the" fight that everyone had been waiting for, and "the" fight that we had been hinted on to "wait for" since Sasuke character was introduced looong time ago ("There was certain man I want to kill") . And we had been waiting all this time, for "this" ???

It couldn’t get much more ridiculous than this. I don’t like having major disappointment over good animes. But I do feel disappointed (again) this time.

First it was how Sasuke defeated Deidara . Fine, I could live with that. After all Deidara was meant to die, and it was just about his time to.

And then there’s the Jiraiya/Pein fight which didn’t live up much to expectations. Suddenly Jiraiya was knocked down like a dog. The fight was so brief, like he had no brain to use other jutsu’s until he turned himself into his "most powerful state", the Hermit-mode. And even with that, he couldn’t do nothing much against Pein.

Fine, I convinced myself it might be for a bigger scene to take place prior to his fight with Pein. Fine, fine, I tried to live with that.

Oh, and Sasuke vs. Orochimaru ; how Sasuke killed off Orochimaru. It’s really nice to see Orochimaru’s own student defeated and killed him, as how he himself made his own teacher, Sarutobi/Third Hokage, died in a terrible/good fight. But on contrary to this Orochimaru/Sarutobi fight, the Sasuke/Orochimaru fight isn’t compared at all!

Orochimaru couldn’t even pull up a fight against Sasuke, who’s very much mastering the same jutsu’s Orochimaru knew (he’s the teacher anyway), except for Chidori and the ones Sasuke learnt from his clan’s specialty (like Katon). Orochimaru was deadly sick, yes, but Sasuke is raw.

If sharingan can do "everything", sees through "anything", why was Uchiha Madara got defeated by Shodai Hokage? And the Kyuubi-fight against Konoha, which the mastermind was again, Uchiha Madara, was failed by Yondaime Hokage/Namikaze Minato? So it isn’t an excuse that Sasuke defeated Orochimaru so pathetically easily because of the sharingan he has.

I thought it couldn’t be much lamer than that.

And then, now, the fight between Sasuke and Itachi …

Of course, we all know obviously, the outcome of the fight, in general. Sasuke will not die, because if he dies then there would be no point of Naruto searching for him and reunite with him, and all the "promises" Naruto made to Sakura, and the bonds, and bla bla anymore. So obviously Sasuke will not die here.

So we know, at some points that Itachi will lose. But how would he lose, is what going to make it interesting and worthwhile.

If Itachi is going to lose because Sasuke "suddenly" was given some kind of a ridiculous power by Kishimoto, or Itachi suddenly was so weak and not living up to expectations, then the fight would turn out just nothing but LAME and not worthwhile at all.

And I think that is exactly where the fight is heading now.

What happened to Naruto manga lately? Next thing we know, Orochimaru revived in Kabuto’s body, and got defeated by Konohamaru . Or probably Udon , while he’s at it.
