Well the new chapter is almost out (translated), but for now here are some more of the untranslated scans of the raw manga. Looks like it’ll be another interesting week of developments- learning more about Pein and what the deal is with his strange powers, and seeing how much butt Kakashi can kick, plus will Naruto find out what’s going on in his home village and come to the rescue yet???

Here are some spoilers for the next naruto chapter, out already on a Tuesday! Apparently they are from 2chan so it must be true, right???

Kakashi: I know his power, now i can engage in real battle.
Pain: …
Kakashi: I must be careful though, there’s something about him that makes him unpredictable.
Pain throws ball.
Kakashi dies.
But it’s another Bunshin.
Kakashi comes from underground to land an uppercut.

Naruto is in mountains still training.
Fukasaku: Naruto, about the kyuubi, you should know that absorbing Nature chakra surpresses the quantity of kyuubi chakra in you. By surpressing it you minimize the risk of going to 4 tails. But if you run out of nature chakra in a matter of seconds then that chakra which is compressed in you might explode and you’ll feel a certain burst of energy.
Naruto: What’s your point?
Fukasaku: Use it well.

Tsunade is helping civilians.
Sakura: Go help the village, i’ll take care of them.
Tsunade: Pain, here i come.
Prepare the special forces, Everyone target Pain.

Pain closes his eyes, and reopens them, he cites a jutsu and the chapter ends.

Next chapter: God is revealed.

Let’s talk about how awesome Tsunade is. She’s like the cool teacher that everyone wants to be or has a crush on. Okay I would have liked to see more of her fighting, cause that was pretty cool when she was fighting Orochimaru way back when, but summoning her favorite giant slugs is fun too.

Also I love her pet pig Tonton, so cute! And the random pearl necklace is a nice touch. The only bad part is when the series gets closer to ending, it probably means Naruto will reach his goal of becoming hokage…which means something bad will probably happen to Tsunade…T_T. But won’t that be weird to have two really really similar looking faces on the hokage face mountain sculpture? Since Naruto looks almost the same as the 4th hokage?

So the new chapter was released, and we see more of the fighting in Konoha. Tsunade joins the fight, and summons her giant slugs, and asks them to help heal the ninja of the village as they’re fighting. Pain meanwhile is still trying to find Naruto, but no one will tell him anything about where Naruto is. Kakashi is fighting one of the Pains, and starts to figure out how his power works. Apparently all the Pains can see everythign the other ones can see, and then Kakashi says something about how they have to figure out what power each Pain specifically has, and fight them one at a time. Pain almost kills Kakashi, but it was only a lightening clone…and then it seems that Chouji’s dad squishes one of the Pains and says “one down…”

This week it seemed much easier to find out about the new Naruto manga 422 before it is released, the spoilers were out early and seem agreed upon by most…the post from a few days ago has the text of the new chapter, and the last post has photos of the chaper, not yet translated. What’s gonna be Kakashi’s "hope"?

What do you think, guys? Is Kakashi going to die? Because obviously Kakashi has no chance against Pein/Pain. Even Jiraiya was defeated, and Jiraiya was obviously much stronger than Kakashi.

It’s true that Kakashi and Pein fight takes place in Konoha rather than OUTSIDE of Konoha, so there’s a great advantage for Kakashi, since there would be other Konoha shinobi to back him up. BUT. But still, the possibility that Kakashi "could" die in the fight is high, no?

Since Jiraiya is now dead and Tsunade just made a speech about the next generation needing take their place as leaders of the village. Some believe that Kakashi will die as well as Tsunade, and most of the Jonin’s and Chunin’s that are not the Konaha 11. This will follow traditional hero’s journey story lines where the Hero is forcedd to avenge their fallen mentor. But then, this is Japanese manga for God’s sake, not American comic book, Kishimoto might surprise us with anything that we would’ve not possibly thought of!

Scene to Kakashi and the two Pains.

Kakashi(thinks): Two guys, this means I am their prey. The one is able to deflect all ninjutsu and taijutsu. So I have only two choices left.

God: Where is the ninetails?

Kakashi(thinks): I need to buy some time.

Kakashi: Jumping into Konohagakure and asking such questions. It seems you dont really understand your situation. But there is more…

God: Capture the Ninetails, this is my aim. Every obstacle will be destroyed.

Kakashi: Dont you think the leaves would protect his fellows. Like the NineTails is a precious ninja to our community. We will protect our children, thats the Will of Fire, dont you think?

God: You mean, I am an outsider?

Kakashi: So you are not so stupid.

God: As I was a human, I failed to protect everyone.

Kakashi remembers Obito and Rin.

Pain: But the Pain I suffered, helped me to become more than a human. There is only one way before the law of god. It is utter destruction.

Both Pains attacks.

Kakashi: !!!
Kakashi: Oh ****, now I have to be fast.

Kakashi jumps, forming some seals. A Mud Dragon breaks through the ground. Demon Pain is stuck in the Mud. God Pain was able to deflect the mud.

Kakashi: Now it is time.

Kakashi activates MS.

Scene to Tsunade.

Tsunade: He is fighting him!!!

Iruka: There is no doubt.

Tsunade: Send two squads. They should search for him.

Suddenly Konan appears.

Tsunade: !!!

Tsunade: Akatsuki…you are Pains Partner.

Konan: We need to talk.

Scene to Naruto.

Fukasaku: The Google Frog is late…

Naruto: What should he do?

Fuka: He should give us a report everyday.

Naruto: ?

Fuka: I have a bad feeling.

Scene to Kakashi and Pain. Kakashi totaly exhausted.

Pain: I see, is this the extent of your doujutsu?

Kakashi: I missed with my MS. I aimed at the second Pain. But he was able to dodge the attack by detaching all limbs from his body. This gave him the chance to attack me.Is he even human?
****…I used too much chakra. I am not able to win against this guy. I should have retreated…

Kakashi remembers Obito, Rin, Minato…and then Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto.

Pain: It seems he dont want to talk…I finish him.

Kakashi: I cant give up…

Kakashi activates his MS.

Pain: !!!

What is this new power? Next Time: A light that wont vanish.

Wow, so the spoilers were mostly right! After some argument about whether to call Naruto back, with Tsunade wanting to call him back but the old advisors saying no he’s too young, Tsunade decides yes to call Naruto back. Meanwhile there’s lots of fighting in the village, we see Sakura and Iruka helping out, and Kakashi with his hands still full trying to figure out how to fight Pein (Pain?). Also the intelligence ninjas found out a little more about Pain, remember the weird “chakra receivers” that seemed so weird from 1 or 2 chapters ago? Well apparently all the Pain’s have those stuck in their bodies and they use them…for something…to be figured out later :). Then at the end, it was so sad! The litle frog (is it Gamakitchi?) is going to go tell Naruto to come back but then there’s a spray of blood and the frog’s goggles go flying, and we see the big jerk Danzo saying ha ha now the 9-tails is out of the way ! T_T The frog boss will be sooo not happy when he finds out about that though!

The next naruto manga chapter should be coming out tomorrow…but in the meanwhile we’re left with the cliffhanger of Tsunade saying “call naruto back!” to help defend the village from Pein’s attack.

Hopefully in the next chapter naruto will come back, and show us his new moves that he learned from the frog masters! He’s been training and learning some crazy new techniques, which are still kind of vague about how they will really work…but in the last chapter we learned that, of course, the sage mode is risky and must be used carefully. It sounds totally weird but the 2 frogs will sit on Naruto’s shoulders, kind of fused there, and between the 3 of them they can achieve both “silence” and “movement.” Apparently they need silence and calm in order to draw out the energy needed for the powerful techniques, but the frogs will do that while Naruto can be fighting at the same time.
